Young children are fascinated by building sites – many children dream of becoming a builder or crane driver. This feature-packed toy crane is the perfect way to introduce budding young builders to the world of construction. It comes with two different accessories, which can be used to convert the crane in a few simple steps in order to transport larger objects. The load carrier is designed for heavy and bulky objects, whereas the gripper arm can be used to pick up smaller objects.
For children aged 3-5
At 120 cm tall, the Dickie Mega Crane can be used while sitting or standing. The top of the crane features a driver’s cabin with space for a toy figure (available separately), while the remote control allows you to pick up different objects and transport them from A to B – the possibilities are endless!
The remote control (requires 6x 1.5 V AA batteries, not included) offers numerous different functions for controlling the crane. Your little one will quickly learn which objects can be picked up with the gripper arm and when to use the large load carrier. In doing so, they will learn about proportions and simple mechanical principles.

The crane horizontal traverse control doesn’t seem to engage. My mother bought it second hand and the motor makes noise but doesn’t traverse. Is there any common reason that it wouldn’t traverse? The cable up and down work correctly. There don’t appear to be any broken components or damage on the surface.

Very funny game for a kid
Crane is easy to assembly, with clear instructions and easy to command. My son (5 years old) is happy to play with it

Er ist schnell aufgebaut und stabil. Für die Altersangabe sehr gut geeignet, aber auch ältere Kinder werden nicht ihren Spaß damit haben.

Robuster Kran
Tolles Geschenk für alle Baustellenfans. Die Gernsteuerung lässt sich gut bedienen und alles funktionierte einwandfrei. Der Kran überstand den ersten Sturz heile, was bei einem Gerangel um die Kranführung nicht immer ausbleibt. Einziger Nachteil: das Zubehör "der Ladeschlitten" ist mit einer instabilen Aufhängevorrichtung versehen und für die Krangröße etwas zu kurz geraten. Doch Gesamteindruck und Preis passt.
